I'm a winner!

I hit 50,633 today, four days early.

Now the rewriting begins, along with adding and subtracting and making the words flow in a more logical sequence.

But it feels good to have passed the 50,000 word mark.

congrats. wish i'd known you had changed your mind. I had to deprive myself of the socializing on NaNo, facebook, blogs etc from around mid month so I missed your entry into the challenge.

love your concept. i'm wondering where women like me fit into the scheme--old enough to have been part of the movement in the 70s but not conscious of it until the 90's not even conscious of how my life was affected by the before and after. worse than that--still caught in the mindset of a 19th century woman believing its concept of 'a woman's place' as a given and any woman resisting as guilty of rebellion which was considered the equivalent of witchcraft as define by KJV.

I 'woke' up in 1992. But i'm still reeling. disoriented. isn't it about time i snapped out of that state of mind?

btw my WIP deals with the themes fictionally. i think in story.

Thanks, Susan. I passed 50,000 on November 26th, had over 61,000 on November 30th, and now have over 74,000 words compiled for my book. I'm still on a roll.
