What's my book about?

I want to explore the thinking of the new generation of women who are just getting interested in feminism, along with those who aren't quite sure what they think on that subject.  The experiences of women today are very different from what was happening to those of us who were part of the women's liberation movement in the 1970s.  We faced the challenge of being asked at EVERY job interview, 'Do you type?' For many jobs women were qualified to do, we were told, 'We don't hire women to do that.'

I've been a book blogger for almost three years now.  It's opened up a whole new world for me.  Most of the book bloggers I know about are women, though there are several men among them.  It would be interesting to check out the reasons more women than men become book bloggers, but that's not where I'm going with this book I've decided to write.  What intrigues me is the community building going on among these women.  And one of the biggest proponents of community among book bloggers was Dewey, who named her blog "The Hidden Side of a Leaf."
